In addition to showcasing the talent of student designers, the 2012 Interior Motives Design Awards acknowledged for the first time the achievements of the schools that nurtured them with its inaugural ‘Most Successful School' award. After a close-run battle with Italy's Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) that was eventually decided by just a single point, the award went to London's Royal College of Art. That little die-cast Pagani? It IS the Pagani Huayra
We’ve had a little blat of activity over the last week or so on the replacement for the Pagani Zonda – the car we have known until recently only by its Pagani codename – the Pagani C9. Yesterday we ran a story that reported Pagani registering the name Pagani Huayra with EU trademark agencies, which we thought may point to the name for the C9.

MINI managed to make us believe that the MINI Countryman is a proper MINI only bigger, and Fiat are having a degree of success in convincing car buyers that the 500L is just a grown-up Fiat 500. Although, judging by the new 500L limited edition – the Fiat 500L Beats Edition – buyers are not too grown up to appreciated a limited edition with a USP of an uprated sound system by Dr. Dre and Interscope Geffen A&M Records chairman and record producer Jimmy Iovine.
